1. We do not collect personal information
ASADA Japanese does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or other personally identifiable information.
2. Learning data stays on your device
Progress for kana, grammar, vocabulary, situational practice, quizzes, learning streaks, and JLPT countdown settings is stored locally on your device. The app does not provide proprietary cloud sync or send this information to the developer.
3. No tracking, analytics, or advertising
The app contains no third-party advertising, does not create advertising profiles, does not track users across apps or websites, and does not use third-party behavioral analytics.
4. Japanese audio
Learning audio is bundled with the app. Playing audio does not send text, voice, or learning content to an external speech service.
5. Optional in-app support purchases
Users may choose to make a one-time support purchase. Transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The app does not receive or store payment-card or payment-account information. Apple handles transaction data under its own privacy policy.
6. Deleting your data
Because learning data is stored locally, deleting the app from your device also removes its local app data. The developer cannot restore deleted progress.
7. Children's privacy
The app can be used by Japanese learners of different ages, but it is not designed to collect children's data or provide children's social services. The app does not collect personal information from children or adults.
